We champion the development of performance art through commissions and innovative programming, providing platforms to develop and share artists’ work. Since 2021, we have commissioned over 80 artists, choreographers, musicians, dancers and performers to present new performances to live audiences across the UK, resulting in 15 new commissions.
Newly commissioned works include: with Haroon Mirza with Focal Point Gallery, Southend (2025); Simeon Barclay at the ICA, London and Hepworth Wakefield (2025); Prem Sahib at Somerset House Studios, London and Edinburgh Art Festival (2024); and Rachel Jones at St James’ Church Piccadilly, London (2023). We have co-commissioned and presented work with a variety of cultural partners including: Southbank Centre and Hayward Gallery, London; Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh; Glasgow International; South London Gallery; the Royal Academy of Music; and Site Gallery, Sheffield.
